Obtaining Building Permits
The City of Burlington has a streamlined process for obtaining a building permit(s). There is a fee for each permit.
To obtain an application packet, or for any questions about Burlington's permitting process, please contact City Hall staff directly at 719-346-8652.
Please check with City Hall staff prior to any construction, remodeling, or other changes or uses related to your place of business.
Some changes or modifications may require a building permit and the city staff can advise you of these requirements as they apply to your specific project.
Before putting a shovel in the ground for construction, please have line locates completed ahead of time.
