The City of Burlington will be performing it’s 2019 street maintenance project consisting of street sealing and applying rock chip to the surface of the street. The anticipated start date is July 01, 2019, with completion date of July 03, 2019, weather permitting.
During the chip seal process, certain streets will be closed to vehicular traffic while the chip and seal process is completed. Once the application of the chip is complete, streets will be re-opened for traffic and parking purposes. The City asks residents to refrain from parking on streets identified as a part of this project until the application of chip has been completed. No parking will be enforced during this project, and vehicles that interfere with the completion of this project will be towed at owner’s expense.
The City will be applying door hangar notices to all affected residents. A complete list of affected streets is also available
online.
