[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Response: Online Bill Pay

PUBLIC NOTICE

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the City of Burlington encourages our utility service customers to utilize online and phone bill pay for your utility payments. You may pay online at www.xpressbillpay.com or by phone at 800-720-6847. We also have a drop box available at City Hall. It is secured by lock, so you may drop cash, money orders, and checks in a sealed envelope with either a utility bill stub or a note including the name and address on the account or the account number of which the payment should be applied to. If you do not have exact change, you may round to the closest amount. If the remaining balance is less than $20, the balance will be added to the next month’s billing. If payment is over the billed amount, it will be applied to your account as a credit.

If you are moving and would like to set up or disconnect your utility service, you will need to download, fill out, and return either the Application for Residential Services (PDF), the Application for Commercial Services (PDF), or the Utility Change Request - Disconnect Form (PDF). Utility customers can call City Hall to pay utility deposits over the phone.

Please keep in mind that if you do need to come into City Hall, we are requiring the 6-foot distance policy be respected and adhered to for the safety of both citizens and staff. If you have questions, please contact us at 719-346-8652. You may also email Ashley Gutierrez, our Utility Billing Clerk, if you need assistance with Utility Billing matters.

Please, be respectful of others, and if you have symptoms or signs of illness, DO NOT expose others.
