Summer Watering Restrictions Begin June 1st

Summer watering restrictions within Burlington begin on June 1st and end on August 31st. Watering restrictions will limit the use of water for irrigation of lawns, gardens, and other outside home uses (i.e. washing of vehicles), per Burlington's municipal code.

Even numbered addresses may utilize water for outdoor use on even numbered days from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and odd numbered addresses may utilize water for outdoor uses on odd numbered days from 9 a.m. to 9.p.m.

Everyone may utilize water for outdoor use from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Everyone, except for large irrigators, may utilize water for outdoor use on July 31st and August 31st.

Large irrigators may utilize water for outdoor use from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. on a daily basis.

No outdoor water may run on a restricted watering day.

Watering permits are available for residents with new sod or new grass seed; established lawns are not eligible.
